今も会津に残る仏像です。六地蔵をはじめ、村内の路傍に並ぶ石碑・石仏群。江戸時代中期の作とされています。

みどころ

  • 六地蔵

    檜枝岐村の中心部の沼田街道 (国道352号) 沿いにたたずむ六地蔵は、凶作の年に間引きされた赤ん坊の霊と母親の嘆きを供養した地蔵です。今でも村の人々から大切にされています。
